The curtains have closed on the latest edition of the House Drama Competition, but this year there was a twist. Say hello to ‘House Fives’ – a new, eclectic format that tested the talents of each House’s actors and actresses in a fun and creative challenge for the top spot.

The competition was intense, with five Houses making it to the final. Each House was given five minutes to showcase their skills, using five lighting states, five sound effects, and five dramatic techniques. The event even offered five prizes… but who would claim them?

After a gripping display of acting prowess, The Murray emerged as the victor, winning the crown for Best Overall Performance. Archie H stole the show as Best Senior Actor, while Felix Z won the hearts of the audience as Best Junior Actor.

The Anglesey won Best Ensemble for their seamless collaboration on stage, while the Wellesley put up a valiant effort to be crowned Runners Up.

Congratulations are in order for all the participants who performed outstandingly and provided the audience with a night to remember. The future looks bright for these young thespians, and we can’t wait to see what they’ll bring to the stage next year.
