Chapel Choir Concert at Merton College

Duruflé’s Requiem is one of the pinnacles of the choral repertoire, and the Chapel Choir were honoured to be invited to Merton College, Oxford on Friday 4 March to give a joint performance of this beautiful work. The joint concert with Rugby School, conducted by Merton College’s Director of Music, Benjamin Nicholas, was offered for all those who have lost their lives in Ukraine. Few in the combined choir (of almost a hundred singers) or audience will forget this profound and deeply moving tribute.

Mr Dahl described the concert as a highlight of his eight and a half years at Wellington College.
