One key way in which this has been expressed over the past decade is through the growing family of Wellington College International schools.
WCI (Wellington College International) seeks to build a family of premium schools, with a shared purpose, ethos and values, committed to excellence and to driving education leadership and innovation within and beyond Wellington itself. Through this network of schools, WCI has the ambition, both for its students and more broadly in our local regions, to broaden access to an excellent quality of education, and to facilitate increased cultural understanding and responsible global citizenship.
Wellington College International was established in 2011 with the opening of the first school in Tianjin, China with our partner Joy Qiao (Wellington College China). Now with six schools in the family, and two more opening in the next 12 months, WCI is recognised as a leading international school group.
