In order to help busy families with the daily commute, the College employs a fleet of minibuses and drivers to bring day pupils into Wellington Monday to Saturday.
There are seven different morning routes available Monday to Friday, plus two routes available on a Saturday morning. Although most parents of day pupils choose to pick up their sons and daughters in the evening whenever is convenient, there are also four evening minibus routes available for the homeward journey Monday to Friday.
Monday to Friday morning routes (various departure times)
- Route 1a: Virginia Water Station – Laithwaites, Virginia Water – Wellington College
- Route 1b: Sunningdale Station – Wellington College
- Route 2: Windsor – Maidenhead Rugby Club – Bird Hills Golf Club – Wellington College
- Route 3: Ascot Racecourse – Prince Consort Drive – Wellington College
- Route 4: Winkfield Row – Harvest Ride – Martins Heron – Wellington College
- Route 5: Upton Grey – North Warnborough – Hartley Wintney – Wellington College Prep (also available to Wellington College pupils)
- Route 6: Wokingham – Finchampstead Road – Wellington College Prep (also available to Wellington College pupils)
Monday to Friday evening routes (7pm departure)
- Route 7a: Wellington College – Martins Heron – Sunningdale Station – Virginia Water Station Parade
- Route 7b: Wellington College – Prince Consort Drive – Ascot Racecourse – St Leonard’s Hill – Windsor – Maidenhead Rugby Club
Saturday morning routes (various departure times)
- Route 8a: Sunningdale – Virginia Water Station – Laithwaites, Virginia Water – Prince Consort Drive – Wellington College
- Route 8b: Windsor – Holyport – Bird Hills Golf Club – Ascot Racecourse – Martins Heron – Wellington College
The College is always open to suggestions for extra stops or new routes, subject to demand, in order to enhance our minibus provision to day pupils.
