On Wednesday, 12th March, the Dance Department proudly welcomed back one of the most anticipated events of the Lent term—the Curriculum Dance Showcase. This year’s showcase set a new precedent , with pupils from Years 9 to 13 delivering outstanding performances that celebrated the academic and expressive power of dance.
From expressive solos to acrobatic tricks, jaw-dropping flexibility, and impressive student choreography, the evening was a testament to the dedication and creativity of our young dancers. The showcase highlighted the power of dance as a tool for communication and self-expression, with each performer bringing their own unique artistry to the stage.
A true highlight of the event was the unwavering support among pupils, who demonstrated not only exceptional talent but also kindness and professionalism throughout the evening. The Curriculum Dance Showcase continues to be a shining example of the passion within our school’s dance community.
