Wellington’s Selangor Court, the V&A, and Princes Quad were transformed into a bustling Christmas market on the last Wednesday of term, as scores of excited pupils gathered to enjoy the annual Christmas Fair. The evening, mainly hosted and organised by the Lower Sixth Form, featured fairground games and festive treats as each House literally set out its stall to raise funds for their chosen charities.

Causes such as the Ruth Strauss Foundation, Autistica, Angel Child, and Make-A-Wish (to name but a few) benefitted from the generosity of the fairgoers as they clamoured to take their chance shooting penalties, dousing brave seniors with buckets of water, or playing Ball & Cup Challenge or mini-golf, while the less competitively minded settled for purchases of candy canes, Christmas mocktails, and treats from the chocolate fountain.

Seasonal music was provided by our resident DJs, and the Lower School Choir performed a series of much-loved carols to ensure that hearts (and tummies) were warmed as the whole school celebrated the arrival of proper Christmas spirit!
