It was carnival time at Wellington on the first Wednesday of term, as students flocked to South Front to explore the range of co-curricular activities on offer at the College. Modelled on University Freshers Fayres, 50 clubs and societies showcased their activities, all keen to add new students to their number. Against a backdrop of entertainment provided by the student-run radio station, Dukebox, pupils were able to sign up for auditions for Les Mis or Lion Boy, join the Street or Acro Dance troops, volunteer for DofE, get involved with the Field Gun team or Scuba Diving club, or simply opt for more cerebral options such as Tricky Physics, Chess, MUN and Robotics.

Music and sun and street food, along with a palpable fizz of energy and excitement, combined to launch another year of co-curricular enrichment at Wellington. It promises to be quite a blast!
